Four-day school designed to prepare wood flooring professionals to take the NWFACP Certified Inspector exam.
Topics will include: inspection procedures and professionalism, inspection tools, wood floor production, sub-floors, factory finishes, moisture testing, adhesives, installation issues, sand & finish issues, maintenance, report writing, & expert witness, photography, and legal ramifications. Actual flooring inspections are included in the classroom environment.
PREREQUISITE: To qualify for the NWFACP Inspector Certification Program, candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in wood floor installation and sand & finish and successful completion of two (2)NWFA Installation and Sand & Finish Schools, (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced of Expert), and complete the NWFACP Inspector School.
Students earn five Continuing Certification Units
On day-five there is the option to take the NWFA CP Inspector Certification Test for an additional charge.
