This four-day event is designed to teach wood flooring professionals how to thoroughly investigate wood flooring concerns and to write inspection reports that are fully supported with facts, testing and mfg/industry guidelines. The NWFACP Certified Wood Flooring Inspector Test will be offered on Friday, September 30, 2016 for an additional cost. Must be a member of NWFA to register for the test.

Four-day school designed to teach wood flooring professionals how to thoroughly investigate wood flooring concerns and to write inspection reports that are fully supported with facts, testing and mfg/industry guidelines.

Topics will include: inspection procedures and professionalism, inspection tools, wood floor production, sub-floors, factory finishes, moisture testing, adhesives, installation issues, sand & finish issues, maintenance, report writing, & expert witness, photography, and legal ramifications. Actual flooring inspections are included in the classroom environment.

PREREQUISITE: To qualify for the NWFACP Inspector Certification Program, candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in wood floor installation and sand & finish, successful completion of NWFA Intermediate Installation and Sand & Finish Schools, and complete the NWFA Inspector School.

Students earn five Continuing Certification Units

On day-five there is the option to take the NWFACP Inspector Certification Test for an additional charge of $350. Must be an NWFA member to register for the test.
